Treatment of toner cartridges

MB RECYCLING’s recycling facility for toner cartridges is the only one of its kind in Poland, allowing for the safe and fully controlled disposal of used cartridges. The worker places the cartridge on the line, and the line transports it to the shredding chamber via automated dosing. When the medium is introduced to a closed chamber in order to neutralize the explosive conditions, the cartridge is broken apart. Following shredding, the plastics, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as toner powder, are sent to the rotary drum screen to be separated from the stream. The process of second shredding scales the plastics and metal fractions to the right size.
